Now Available: APAS Tools--Fall 2019 revised for equity and inclusion

For over forty years NIOST has been guided by the principles of equity and inclusion in our day-to-day work and in our research, training and partnerships. The Fall 2019 version of APAS: Assessment of Program Practices (APT) and Survey of Academic and Youth Outcomes (SAYO) reflects modifications to bring the tools into further alignment with these values.

We partnered with Kids Included Together and Development Without Limits, experts in the areas of equity, inclusion and diversity to bring this new revision to fruition. These changes are the result of our own continuous quality improvement process where we incorporate your feedback and current research to keep our tools relevant.

If you are a current authorized user of APT or SAYO, we encourage you to update to the Fall 2019 version of the tool. If it has been awhile since you’ve used the tool and you wish to refresh your tool training, online training is available at a 50% discount through May 31, 2020 for existing users.
